The Carr Family

Hi, My name is Debbie Vareldzis and I am the great grandmother of 3 precious little boys! Our third grandson was born on December 20th with an unfortunate birth defect that has caused a very grave situation. Baby Lincoln's lower jaw did not develop properly which does not allow for adequate room for his tongue. He and the doctor's struggled for the first few days of his life to keep his airway open. He underwent a major surgery to correct this problem on December 24th. Doctors placed a growth plate in his jaw to help extend it out to give his tongue the room it needs without blocking his airway. He is currently intubated and in a coma for possibly up to 2 weeks. As you can imagine this has caused a tremendous amount of stress on his parents and supporting family. Hannah and Adam have 2 other children at home and very little help. While extended family are doing what they can it is difficult for everyone involved to juggle their own lives, family and work schedules. Hannah and Adam have only one vehicle and Lincoln will be in hospital for 2 months. Hannah will have no way to go see him during the day while Adam is at work. Money is tight as it is with most young families and they are now having to drive more and eat out more while missing work hours they so desperately need. I would appreciate any help that anyone could possibly provide in support of this young family. I thank you in advance and give God all the glory for healing and restoration!
