CAR FOR STRUGGLING SINGLE MOM

My name is Geoff Campbell, and I set this account up on behalf of a struggling single mom by the name of Lisa Plantier, who also happens to be the mother of my boys. While some of the past has been difficult, Lisa has made many very tough, very positive changes in her life, even through very difficult and trying times. She lives very unselfishly, and has been raising her daughter Amelia by herself, for over four years now. They live very minimally, without cable or internet, in a very cheap apartment in a rougher section of the city. Mom does all her laundry by hand in a bathtub, and Amelia gets overly excited at the simplest things, even a patch of grass to play on. While they have what they need, and are extremely appreciative for the little they do have, I  also know that she is sometimes scraping her last few dollars together to buy essentials such as food.
A couple years ago her father passed away, and along with that, her only real support went, along with the vehicle he gave her.  This was taken after his passing since the vehicles title was in his name. Since this time I know that Lisa often walks all the way to the nearest grocery store with her daugher and groceries in a wagon, probably about a 4 mile round trip. This is tough under any conditions, especially in the winter.
Despite a past that has been rocky, I do know that people can change, and I know Lisa has been trying very hard for years now, has made a lot of wonderful changes in her life. I believe the opportunity to drive a cheap but reliable vehicle would be a huge blessing, and opportunity for her.  I am hoping to raise enough money to purchase a Ford Escort from Moms Garage in Manchester for $2,900. Doug, the owner, is aware of this effort.
The picture I posted is of my boys, just a cute picture to fill in until I can obtain a picture of Lisa and Amelia. I asked her for a nice picture of them together, and unfortunately she didn't have one. (I am going to surprise them by scheduling a photography session!)

Thank you so much for anything you are able to contribute! I know it will be greatly appreciated, and the opportunity this presents will not be wasted. Lisa has no idea we are all doing this for her, so please help me keep it a complete surprise! If we end up raising more than our goal, I will put the money towards registration and getting started on insurance. Thank you all so much!
