Hi my name is Annette Pearson
My beautiful husband John Pearson was taken too soon. He was recently fighting a deadly disease Pancreatic cancer. We were only told of his cancer diagnosis on 25th December 2024 Christmas Day.
This day will never be the same to me and my family now.
John took it in his stride and said oh well I’m still going to be me and joke and laugh as there is nothing any of us can do to take this away.
John already battled many years of mental illness and chronic daily back pain then to add to that he was hit with “you have pancreatic cancer stage 3 and unfortunately there is nothing that is going to cure you”
John continued to go out to his self seen coffee group at Bonny Hills on Thursday mornings and also attend the Community at 3 group as a volunteer at the LUSC club in Laurieton. He loved meeting the friends and four legged ones on Wednesday afternoons.
Unfortunately John’s pain and fatigue from the cancer progressively got worse very fast and he ended up in Palliative care very quickly.
John lost his 4 week battle on Australia Day 26th January 2025.
This seemed a very fitting day for John to pass a true Australian man he was.
As devastating as it is for us and for those that knew John he is now free from all the pain and suffering he lived with daily.
We are all in shock at how fast things happened and still in disbelief he is now gone.
Fly high my beautiful man love you always & beyond ❤️❤️❤️
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS
Any help towards funeral cost would be greatly appreciated thanks
.
