$3,000 On a $300 Ride
Donation protected
Hi Coworkers, Students, Friends, and Family,
Help me raise money for Kohelet Yeshiva High School.
A few weeks ago I told my incredible and supportive wife that it would be cool to ride my bike from Lower Merion to Twin Rivers NJ, where both of our parents live.
Then, Sam, a family friend suggested to raise some money while persuing this venture. So instead I'll be riding from Twin Rivers to Lower Merion, right into school.
I hope to leave Twin Rivers after the 6:15 minyan and come cruising (crusing being the best case scenario) into Kohelet for period F (12:36), right on time for Gemara Shiur.
To make matters more challenging, I'll be riding on a $300 bike purchased from Target a few years back.
Currently I'm looking at Monday, September 21, 2015 as my riding date. I'm trying to get to $3,000 before then.
The funds will be used to enhance Kohelet's school-wide shabbaton, which will take place in November this year. Since the ride is 53 miles, I'm hoping people will donate in increments of 53. So, you can donate $53, or $1.06, or even $10.60 if you are in the mood, or any other number you feel is right. If I get to the full $3000, we should be able to keep the school's shabbaton at last year's prices.
Your incoming Dean of Students,
Aaron Horn
