Supporting Dr. Bekele Anisa’s family

Our dear brother, beloved husband, father, and community leader Dr. Bekele H. Anisa has suddenly departed us in the morning of January 4th, 2022. This tragedy has devastated his family and shocked his friends and everyone who knows him - as a humble, honest and kind person.

 

Dr. Bekele, a family-man, is survived by his wife, and two beautiful children, aged 14 and 12. The family could use any financial support during this heartbreaking time.

 

Dr. Bekele was born at Kurfo Gutee Kebele near Waliso town, Ethiopia. After completing his high school education in Bishoftu, he moved to Germany where he received a Doctorate Degree in Veterinary Medicine from Leipzig University. Until his departure, Dr Bekele had worked as Associate Veterinarian at Banfield Veterinary Hospital of Sacramento, California and prior to that at University of California Davis.

 

The money raised will be transferred to Dr. Bekele's wife, Helen Gurmessa and will be used to cover funeral and other emergency expenses. We thank you for your support.
