Help us bring our Mom home!!

On March 18th our mom was recently in a tragic accident that has completely changed our lives. On top of the trauma from the accident, she has also been living with ongoing heart issues, which made this entire experience even more frightening and complicated. She has always been the glue that holds our family together, the one who keeps our traditions alive and the person we can always count on to make the holidays and special moments memorable.

The last few weeks have been the hardest we’ve faced, but through her incredible strength and the outpouring of love, support, and countless prayers from family and friends, she has made incredible progress.

She is s warrior.

However, the road to full recovery is long. She still requires physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and daily nursing assistance. We’re hoping to bring her home from rehabilitation, but we anticipate that she will need many weeks of in-home care to get through the necessary work to regain her strength and independence. Given her current status, she will require several hours of care each day, including help with basic tasks like mobility, bathing, and other personal care needs.

Unfortunately, Medicare doesn’t cover the full cost of this care, which is why we are raising $20,000 to cover the necessary in-home nursing over the next couple of months.

This support will help my mom get through the hardest parts of her recovery, enabling her to regain her strength and transition safely back to living in her home.
