Update: In 24hrs, the goal of $2,000 was raised. I have spoken with the Everett's and they are overwhelmed with the amount of support from our community. They would like to thank each and everyone of you for considering them during such a difficult time. Loosing everything in the blink of an eye is something I pray anyone goes through.

I decided to increase the goal in case others would like to support the family.

Their thanks extend to everyone regardless of donating monetarily. Kind words have really brightened their spirits. For anyone that has sent them messages on Facebook, they told me to let everyone know that they will get onto Facebook once they get to US Cellular, as Facebook log-in security is requiring validation via text to the number associated with the account.

A young couple in my neighborhood , Anthony and Samantha Everett, awoke around 4:30AM this morning to billowing smoke in their house. Luckily they were able to escape safely, but only with the clothes on their back. They have two animals that at this time are unknown if they were able to escape.

Their home is a total loss. I ask that you pray for this couple, and if you are able to help monetarily it will be much appreciated. All funds will be given directly to the couple to help get them back on their feet.
