Cathy has dedicated her life to caring for others, exemplifying strength and love as a devoted single mother. She is a mother of four adult boys and many grandchildren of which she adores. For the nearly 40 years, she has lovingly nurtured her son, who has a chromosomal disorder, choosing to keep him at home rather than in a group setting. She has been by his side through every surgery, including open-heart surgery, and many hospital stays. Her unwavering commitment to his well-being has been nothing short of inspiring. She has never taken a day off and has always been a dedicated and hardworking woman.

Now, Cathy faces a challenging battle as she has received a serious cancer diagnosis with a difficult prognosis. In this time of need, we have the opportunity to come together and support her.

Hello my friends and family on June 18th of 2024 I was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer and now it’s metastasized to my kidneys, liver and other areas in my abdomen and now we found a spot about the size of a quarter in my brain people wonder am I scared yes but I’m at peace too cause I’m gonna follow the path that God leads me i’ve tried experimental stuff now. They want mee try another form of chemo and hit my brain with radiation. I don’t know what I’ll do or if I’ll do it all what’s next thank you for all your prayers. I appreciate everything.
