Our family dog, Blacky that has been with us for 8 years needs surgery as soon as possible. He got bit by a venomous spider and became severely infected and it turned into Eschar. This is when the tissue dies and becomes infected. The dead tissue begun to lift up and became severely infected. He now needs surgery because the blood flow to that area has now stopped and the infection will just get worse. He's in a lot of pain, he's currently in antibiotics and pain meds. Our children are very attached to him. There's only 1 working parent so I'm trying to get financial relief. Thank you very much to those who help.

To everyone who has donated, thank you very much. He's currently in recovery. The recovery is a slow process and still requires for him to be seen every other day. The healing is heading the way it should be. It's called wet to dry procedure. They removed dead infected skin and have been putting honey over the area to help heal and a gauge. They put sutures all around the area to be able to clip on the gauge. He gets it replaced every other day and is still taking antibiotics. If he didn't have surgery the infection would have spread throughout his body and heart. We are grateful to everyone who has helped !
