Will you join me in helping start a Dream Center here in Raleigh?
In early 2014 the Lord placed the vision of Raleigh Dream Center on my heart and I've been pursuing it ever since. My eyes have been opened for the hurting and broken in this city, and RDC is reaching out to meet needs all around us. In 2015 we were able to reach 2500 households through our outreach programs. We served over 40,000 pounds of food, and saw many lives impacted because we were able to connect with and meet the needs of many through this ministry.
It is amazing to see local businesses, churches, and community groups partner with us in the work we are doing. With a rapidly growing volunteer base (over 300 volunteers in 2015), we have launched teams in the community to help meet immediate physical needs (food, clothing, mattresses, etc...). Through these community relationships there is a growing need for a facility to achieve the vision that God has placed on our heart to change this city and launch a fully operational Dream Center based on the Los Angeles Dream Center model.
In 2014 a partnership began with the LA Dream Center (Pastor Matthew Barnett, co-founder of the Dream Center) which has helped fuel the vision that is now being realized in Raleigh. By participating in the Dream Center Network we are backed by over 20 years of experience which provides the resources, strategies, and organization to help us have a successful launch. A network of 100 national partners assures the model is viable and able to be replicated.
Not only are we meeting basic physical needs of 1000’s of people in the community, but with a permanent facility we will be able to house and serve 200 people in the RDC residential discipleship program, house 40 families in transitional housing, while educating and supporting 1,000’s of people each month through our community outreach programs.
