Hello,
Many of you know Joanne Mcghee. For some of you she is your second mom, for some of you she is your best friend and for many she is a caring and dedicated nurse. For those of you that know her as @Glamnurse4Adam on Twitter, she is the creator of the "Day in the Life of a Glambert" cartoons.
Joanne has spent her entire life caring for others, including her five children (us!) and all of their (our) friends. Now it's time for us to take care of her.
Just a few weeks ago Joanne (aka Mom, Ma, Mama, Momobat, Ma-dukes) was diagnosed with stage 4 breast and liver cancer. We are teaming up to help her fight for her life but we need all the help that we can get! Joanne will be undergoing chemotherapy every three weeks and is eliminating unhealthy foods from her diet. The doctors are focusing on reducing the tumors and stabilizing her bilirubin level before undergoing any surgery. All the while she is resting and we are trying to make her comfortable during the process.
Unfortunately she is unable to work in her condition and her disability won't kick in until August! This GoFundMe is going to help us pay for her living expenses and medical bills. Please consider contributing to help our mom and keep us in your prayers.
