Hi, my name is Joel, and I'm fundraising for my brother-in-law Todd, and my sister

Joanne.

On February 16th, Todd was diagnosed with throat cancer. The protocols to deal with

this are intense, with radiation 5x per week for seven weeks (35 treatments) plus

chemotherapy. Todd has been unable to work, and the loss of income has been

debilitating. On top of lost wages, just getting to Sunnybrook hospital from Norwood

(two hours each way) every day is really taking a toll, particularly with current gas prices.

My sister has been taking care of their farm, working on the side, as well as driving into

Sunnybrook for treatments.

I hope that whatever the rest of us can pitch in will help recover some lost wages, travel

costs, and expenses piling up at home.

Many people have reached out to ask what they can do to help. This campaign seems

like an excellent way to coordinate funds so that we can contribute.

Todd is one of the best people I know. Definitely the hardest working, and I know how

difficult it's been for them. Hopefully, together, we can put a small dent into this

challenge
