Erica's Year of Travel
After putting myself through four long, hard, and amazing years at the University of Michigan, I have almost completley finished my degree, and have been accepted into the Master's program here at the School of Social Work (Currently #1 in the country!). I couldn't be happier.
Before I go into another 2 years of school, I am taking a year off. During this year, I plan to stay in Ann Arbor, and will be working to save as much money as possible during the Summer and Fall, before going to study abroad in the winter, hopefully at London College in the U.K. I have saved a few elective credits that need to be filled, so that I can use my last semester of financial aid to help pay for the study abroad, but the aid won't cover everything.
After my study abroad, I hope to backpack around Europe in the summer, and travel as much as possible before starting grad school in the fall of 2015. Unless you count Canada, the one and only time I've ever been abroad was visiting family when I was too young to remember, so I am really looking forward to taking time to see the world.
I have been saving for this trip for a couple of years now, but am still trying to save at least a little more before I leave. Right now I have nothing I need as far as Graduation/Birthday/Holiday Gifts go, and would much rather have money to fulfill my dreams of traveling.
Anyone (whether you donate or not!) who wants to be updated on my travels, wants postcards, and/or small souvenirs, please, let me know! I look forward to sharing my traveling joys with all of you!
