This page has been set up to raise funds for a custom manual wheelchair for Dylan
His current one he has outgrown and is making his spinal pain worse

We have found a fantastic lightweight wheelchair that has supportive seat & back and super light which means he can be totally independent
These chairs are not funded by the nhs

Due to being custom made the chairs are very expensive
Dylan's is £3.748
This includes a brilliant attachment he can put on front when going on grass or unlevel terrain

Dylan is extremely independent and he needs chair that suits his crazy personality

If you've not met Dylan then will explain his story

dylan is a very lively 12 year old

he was born with severe spina bifida & hydroceplus
this means he is paralysed from waist down. He has no movement or feeling in legs.
his hydroceplus ( water on the brain )
is a life threatening condition and he is kept alive by a VA shunt that drains the fluid from his brain to his heart.

when he was born we expected the worst but he was a fighter from day one
he had major surgery at a day old to close the huge hole in his back exposing his damaged nerves
then a few days later he needed his shunt fitting 




his spina bifida has also resulted in chairi malformation which means part his brain has slipped down back nexk
his currently sits at c4

also he has neuropathic bowel & bladder which he has had numerous surgeries on
he now has channel in abdomen so he can pass catheters to empty his bladder and colostomy for his bowel

dylan really amazes me, he has spent so much of his life in hospital  and going through lots surgery
he has needed 74 operations so far
some life saving 

life is a rollercoaster for him but his cheeky personality gets him through wverythung

im asking for people's help to get Dylan the chair he needs & deseges
