My family and I are homeless.

EDIT: It's official, we have until the end of next week to pay over 2 grand or the hotel is going to evict us. We need help.

Hi, my name is Dominique. I never thought I would need to do this but I keep hitting roadblocks after roadblocks.

My family and I lost our apartment in April and we've been living out of a hotel room with our dogs since then. My mother has been in and out of jobs and due to current health problems, she's unable to work. Her car has broken down, which means we're unable to drive out and get groceries. We're living on my check and I'm barely making enough to cover the room payment every week, let alone food and other necessities. Because of this, I've had to forgo paying for the room for a week so we can eat and have transportation (I use Lyft to get to and from work)

We're behind on the bill and they're likely to kick us out any day now. With no money, no car and three big dogs we can't afford to be homeless.

If we reach our desired goal, we can put a down payment on a house and have money left over. Or at the very least, help us live comfortably until we can find a place of our own. And while I'd prefer the full amount, whatever anyone is willing to donate will help make our lives easier right now.

Please, my family and I really need the help.
