Hello Everyone!
My name is Dolores Perales and I am a Senior at Michigan State who is studying Environmental Studies and Sustainability Sciences with a minor in Epidemiology. I have been given the opportunity to Study Abroad March 2019 in San Ignacio, Belize. While in Belize I will be participating in various service learning projects where I will be aiding teachers and staff within a local school in school activities such as tutoring, personal wellness, information technology, leadership training, and art.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and hope to take the knowledge I learn within Belize and apply it to my future work regarding sustainability and green infrastructure designs within various communities.
Donations are highly appreciated as they will not only help cover the cost of the program but the class that intertwines within it allowing me to earn one of my final degree requirements for my graduation come May 2019.
