Our little guy Kano is in need of surgery to repair a fractured growth plate in his knee. While running outside to play with his brother Tyson, Kano tumbled down the stairs and was unable to walk on his back left leg when he got up. After taking him to the emergency clinic, the veterinarian shared the devastating news that Kano suffered significant damage in his knee joint and is in need of surgery. In order for him to have the ability to grow normally and enjoy life, Kano needs this surgery.

Noah brought Kano into his home less than 6 months ago when Kano was born. As a busy student-athlete on the Iowa football team, he doesn't have a good opportunity to work to help pay this expensive surgery bill while in season. Kano means the world to so many people and still has many years left to enjoy. He deserves this chance to continue living a normal puppy life and being a light in countless lives.
