Help us to evacuate from Gaza

I am Khalil Al-Halimi, I am 26 years old, the only brother of four sisters. I graduated from Al-Quds Open University, majoring in accounting. I started working as an accountant in a mall and started collecting money so that I could be myself and build a family. I was at the peak of my success. I was able to finish my education with a very good grade, and I worked a good job and was a support to my family. Praise be to God, and I had secure expenses. Marriage. On October 7, our lives were upended. War came and destroyed our home, which was the center of the family gathering, which was in our memories and will never return.



This is our house that was bombed on the night of October 8. Thank God, God granted us a new life. We miraculously emerged from death after the house was bombed on us while we were sleeping. Since that day, we have been deprived of our memories, our lives, and we have lost many of our family and friends.



We were displaced from the first night of the war to Dar Sido (Mama’s family), and after the first week we were displaced for the second time to Nuseirat in the south, an area that was supposed to be safe according to what the occupation said. Of course, we saw the suffering of the power and water outages, and in order to be able to charge our mobile phones and check on our family and friends, we went to Abu Dalal Mall, which was bombed with our mobile phones inside. Unfortunately, we lost most of our mobile phones that day, and two days later, the house next to us was bombed, and for the second time, thank God, our Lord saved us with minor injuries from the shrapnel that was there. It was flying at us, and after exactly 3 months, the occupation threatened the safe zone that it would enter it by land, and we were displaced for the third time to Rafah.



After we had our home, our privacy, and our family gatherings, we shared this place, which is not suitable for living even for animals, with a strange family that we do not know anything about, and now in the same place. We forgot privacy and comfort, and that one sits with his family alone. When you want to miss the bathroom, you wait in line, and for this reason, hepatitis diseases spread among us and we lost our lives. Because of this disease, a large number of people have been displaced. Of course, this place is where we sleep, eat, lead, and live our entire lives, but in this room. And now, after we spent all our living expenses and went to our home, we hope that this link will be a reminder towards us and that you can help us through it so that we can return, even if only a little, from what was gone and so that we can travel.

This war will change the entire course of my life after I have lost my fatigue, my house where I will get married, and my family’s house. My only thought is my family, so that I can get them out of danger, so that we can travel to a safe place.
