As some of you may know my brother Jonathan and I have always been close. We have spent our whole life living together and taking care of eachother. Well in October of 2018 he moved to Wisconsin to start a new life with some different opportunities. He had been sick on and off quiet a bit since he moved. Well as of February 19th 2019 he went to the hospital with what they had told him was pneumonia and he was being admitted for a severe case. Well the next day we were told he would have to undergo some procedures and he they placed him in ICU the next day. They ended up doing a bunch of test and told us the cause of his illness was Influenza A which then sparked up the pneumonia which also led to tons of fluid build up in his lungs. Well his oxygen levels were not staying elevated so they were highly concerned. They then ended up having to but Jonathan in a breathing tube as well as the normal things like the catheter and ivs and his feeding tube. Later on through the night they had to remove his breathing tube due to it leaking and not giving him the proper oxygen that he needed at the time well doing so my brother enter into cardiac arrest for over 3 mins where they had to perform CPR and they brought him back together with us but at this time we do not know if anything has been damaged such as his brain just yet. Jonathan is still currently in ICU he has had several test done on top of everything possible but he is not recovering as well as the doctors expected him to. After medications upon medications he still has his good and bad days. He now has a treache and his feeding tube was moved to his stomach. He has been undergoing dialysis for several weeks now due to his kidneys not producing enough urine as they would like. So about 3 weeks ago my family and I sent my mother Tina Wiggins to go be with my brother and support him and just to be with him in this hard time. And we have currently gone through some issues with Jonathan's other half to where my mother is having to fight for his legal custody to make the decisions and to also try and get him back home to his family. They have told us that Jonathan will be moving to a rehab center in Wisconsin sometime next week and my mother will be going with him until we can get him home. So we as family are asking for any donations or anything that anyone can do to help my mother and brother out to get them both home. My mother will have to come up with funds to get her through another month there with my brother and I myself am not able financially to help her out with all that she needs such as having food and also a hotel for her to stay another month until we can get Jonathan's full custody and get him home. Anything is a major help to me and the family we will greatly appreciate anything that is donated to help my mother and brother get through this long journey that they have. We also ask for the prayers to keep flowing and just have faith and trust in God and know that he will be helping us along the way as well! Also as of right now the court date for legal custody for Jonathan is April 23 that's over a month away so keep praying for us and everything that is done we thank everyone so very much!
