Flash-Forward

Hello everyone!

My name is Madison LaVigne, and I am a film student at Belmont University. This semester, I am directing a short film, titled Flash-Forward, for a junior-level production course.

Flash-Forward is a dramedy that follows a crazed scientist who creates a remote that fast-forwards time. He uses the remote accidentally in an argument with his wife, but the remote becomes an addiction. With a baby on the way and a lingering divorce on the rise, the scientist must fix what remains of his broken family before the power consumes everything he holds close to his heart. The message of my film is to live every day in the moment and not to take what time we have for granted.

I am grateful to have access to equipment and locations through Belmont University, but not all costs are covered in our program. I am fundraising to help feed my cast and crew for 3 days of 12-hour shoots. Other out-of-pocket expenses include props, wardrobe pieces, and last-minute supplies.
