As we all have felt, experienced, and been touched by Edith's comfort and wisdom, we know that she was a daughter of God. A spiritual believer of His word and an embodiment of a true child under the Lord's blessing, she walked through the valley of the shadow of death with closed eyes as her faith for God's guidance was unwavering.
Her love for her husband, children, and family were only some of her greatest traits. Filling her pastries and desserts with love, her pies are something to be missed on the edge of her oven mitt glove. Edith was a steward of caregiving and nurture who regularly attended Sunday church and bible study, her niece's and nephew's athletic events, and many more with the intent on showing her genuine support. She was "a rock" in the Milan family. Her patience was steady, and powerful in character.
On Sunday January 3, 2016, Edith Milan Sales was called upon by the Lord to join him in the kingdom of heaven. She passed peacefully in the night surrounded by her loving children Rachel and JT, and husband Raymond Sales. Fighting many years of medical ailments, Edith was a living miracle. While we are heartbroken at the thought of losing a loved one, we all know that she is in the arms of our Lord and Savior. She has been saved from hurt, pain, and conflict of this earthly world and has been lifted into her new heavenly body where she joins her loving father, sister, and many who have gone before her.
In respect to her memory, this gofundme page has been dedicated to the legacy that she leaves behind. While we celebrate the life she has left and the memories she has gifted into our hearts, please help us raise money to pay for the medical expenses, funeral costs, and support of her family and loved ones.
