Cuddle Cot in memory of Elizabeth
Donation protected
On February 23rd of 2015, Lisa and I lost one of our twin girls at 8 months gestation. Up until then, we were unaware as to how commonly this happens nationwide, and even in our own hometown.
We were able to have some time with Elizabeth before her funeral, but that time was short and a lot of it consisted of waiting for the nurses to bring her from the morgue.
We wanted to do something to both honor the memory of our daughter and to help other families that this may happen to. We decided to raise the funds to donate a Cuddle Cot to Unity Point Health St. Luke's in Elizabeth's name.
A Cuddle Cot is a cold bed unit that lets the families of stillborn children have more time with them. Unfortunately, they are currently only manufactured in the UK. We need the raise the money so that we can buy a unit and have it shipped here.
Please help us in honoring Elizabeth and helping other families who will grieve like we did.
