Support Paul's Recovery

Paul Filippone Jr., a loving husband, devoted father, loyal friend, and dedicated businessman urgently needed a heart transplant to overcome a life-threatening complication after his aortic valve replacement on August 16, 2024. Our dad underwent surgery thinking he would come out with a repaired valve. Unfortunately, unexpected complications arose, and he was faced with a life-saving heart transplant on August 30, 2024. He has been in the hospital over a month and is progressing his way towards recovery and rehabilitation.

We can not fully express the depth of gratitude for the incredible gift our dad has received from his donor. We would also like to thank from the bottom of our hearts the compassion and dedication of the Mass General transplant team, amazing nurses, specialty teams, and the ICU doctors that have continuously been helping our dad around the clock to get stronger each day.

While we are focused on our dad’s immediate needs, we also want to channel our efforts into supporting organizations that are making significant strides in heart health and transplants. Your donation will go towards Paul’s journey and reputable organizations that specialize in heart health, as well as offer resources to patients in similar situations.
