In Gaza, the city of wars, the city of suffering. I am Yassin Sobeih here in Palestine. I am 26 years old

At the beginning of the war, we were living in our house located in the north of the Gaza Strip. Then the fighting intensified, so we were forced to flee to our relatives’ house in the middle of the Gaza Strip. During the war and displacement, we were bombarded on civilians, and we miraculously survived, thank God. We continued walking for about 4 hours with our hands raised. Without water or food until we reached the city of Bureij and stayed in one of the UNRWA school camps, which is a place unfit for human use. We stayed there for about a month and had great difficulty getting water and food that was not fit for human use but we were struggling to survive, then the school we were staying in was bombed and we had to live there. We flee again to the city of Rafah on the Egyptian border, and now we live in a tent that can barely accommodate five people, and we are more than twenty people, and I lived difficult days for more than 210 days, each minute of which is equivalent to a year of torment, terror, and fear. Unfortunately, I cannot, in any language or expression, describe to you the extent of the suffering that I am experiencing with my family and how many times we have escaped certain death. I appeal to your living consciences to help us escape from this hell in which we live. In all its details, I point out to you that each person needs $9,000 per adult and $2,500 per child. There are 10 adults and 6 children in my family. I do not have even a single dollar of these amounts, knowing that my father was seriously injured and needs more than one operation, and he is an old man who needs special care. This sudden war caused us to lose all our money in addition to the loss of our home in which we grew up, knowing that I have children who are not more than ten years old and have lived through the horrific war for the fifth time.
