Sarah's Journey

As many of you know Sarah was diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer on 3/25/2019.  The golf ball sized tumor is in a spot so deep it can’t be operated on. She was approved for a surgical procedure called Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy (LITT) that is only done at MD Anderson - Houston, TX campus.   Sarah and Jon have 4 boys (Wyatt 10; Hudson 8; Conway 5; Maverick 16 months) and since diagnosed she has not been able to work.  She will not return to work as her entire focus right now is beating cancer and fighting like the warrior we all know her to be. After this treatment, she will undergo radiation for 6 weeks (5 days a week) and then chemo treatment for 6 months - to 2 years.   This is just the beginning of this journey.   She is a fighter and she will not give up.  Her faith in God and love for her family has kept her spirits up. As supporters of the Horejsi family, there are a few things we can do to support and love on them.  Let's PRAY BIG and let's GIVE BIG to alleviate the financial strain that will come due to medical bills, travel to MD Anderson, future childcare needs while she is undergoing treatment, etc. The goal is set but will certainly be changed as we follow along with Sarah's Journey. #faithoverfear #praybig #givebig #boymom #warrior #sarahsjourney

Sarah is recovering from surgery on 4.18.19 where doctors at MD Anderson completed a ventriculostomy and the LITT procedure. She is a fighter and needs our prayer more than ever. We need the brain swelling to go down. Thank you so much to every single person that has sacrificed and given so we can help alleviate some of the financial burden that will soon fall on the Horejsi family. God is so good and you are all a true reflection of the body of Christ! Let's hit 3-0! Pray Big! Give Big!
