First off this is incredibly difficult to ask for help. But we lost curts vehicle a month ago, 3 weeks ago totalled my vehicle bc a guy cut infront of us. He was in a lane not moving while we were in the hov lane doing 50mph. He hadnt even straightened out his vehicle when we hit him. Barely had time to swerve left. But swerving left made 70% of the impact on curts side as he was my passenger. The accident has been found to not be my fault but havent received even the value of my car from his insurance. Then this morning out apartment caught on fire while curt was driving me to work. The thermostate was off but the wall heater short circuited and burned everything in our apartment. Then last night after curt worked 2 days our boss laid him off due to him being to injured from the car accident. We are both Union laborers. Ive had to keep working to keep us a float while paying for a rental car. Having to act like im not injured. Any help will be much appreciated to help us restart from nothing.
