Hi, my name is Alison and this GoFundMe is for our sweet girl, Pepper. A little over a year ago, shortly after her 5th birthday, she started not feeling well and her health deteriorated very quickly. We ended up having to take her to the Care Center Emergency Vet Clinic. After many tests, it was determined that she has Addison's Disease. Although uncommon, poodle breeds are more susceptible. She's was in ICU for about 12 hours and made it through that Addisonian Episode, but her road to recovery and leading a full life will be long. The bill alone for her medical care was $7,000 and the shot she needs monthly is a little over $100. This is a lifelong disease, and I am a teacher with limited income. I am currently working 3 jobs to try to pay the loan for her ICU stay and monthly meds, along with the “usual” bills most of us have.

We would do anything to keep her healthy and with us for many years to come.
