In 2024, Milo underwent surgery for a herniated disc that was compressing his spine. He spent three days at the DMV and, after two long months, made a strong recovery. Once he was home, every precaution was taken to protect him — ramps were added for the bed and couch, and Milo was no longer allowed to use stairs.

For a while, Milo was back to enjoying life.

Then, on January 28, everything changed. Milo began experiencing severe pain and started hiding, which we knew wasn’t normal. He was rushed back to the DMV to see his neurologist, where we learned that he had two more herniated discs compressing his spine. Milo underwent surgery again on January 29.

Milo is back at the dmv today March 17 . Milo started experiencing extreme pain in the lower lombar ,his neurologist told us this may be another disc issue or may be chronic but for us to really find out what’s going on we need to do scans and other test , this was very unexpected. I’m hoping we will get news tomorrow prayers for our boy Milo .

Sadly, his recovery has been much harder this time. He is still in extreme pain, and doctors may need to perform another MRI along with additional tests. The medical bills continue to grow, and there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight.
