NED'S VET BILLS

I've started this go find me to help my dachshund ned.

Ned suffers from IVDD witch is basically a disease that attacks the disks in his back.

We found this out the hard way in 2020 just after covid hit when another dog bowled him over at the dog park and he threw his back out requiring surgery and a lengthy recovery but ned was determined and has been fine up until now

About 2 weeks ago we woke to find ned struggling and in severe pain.

This isn't our first rodeo with poor ned so we kinda knew what was wrong but there was no clear incident that had caused him to injure his back this time.

We just had a consultation at the vet to try and get ned some help but being that we have gone down this road before I know that the bill we will be looking at is a substantial amount and with the economy how it is and the financial state we are in we just won't be able to afford this.

He's only 8 and has many more years ahead of him but this injury has really thrown a spanner in the works.

I really hate to ask for help because it feels like an admission of defeat but I really don't want to give up on my friend.
