Hi, my name is Sherylene, I go by Sherri. I am almost 56, and my husband and I adopted our 8-year-old grandson. It was so wonderful! Then, in June of this year, I was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer with the BRCA gene 2. 87% chance of reoccurring.

I've had my initial surgery to remove the cancer. Unfortunately, I still need 3 more surgeries: 2 for a double mastectomy (1st is on November 13th, 2nd unknown yet) and then a complete hysterectomy. I'm giving myself a year to completely recover from 4 major surgeries!

As you can imagine, medical bills and life are expensive, and obviously, this wasn't expected. I guess it never is.

I don't like that I must do this, especially with the economy the way it is today. If you are able, I would appreciate anything towards my cancer journey.
