As many of you probably know, my brother Steve suffered a stroke March 20, 2019.  He was initially completely paralyzed on the right side but thank goodness due to the quick actions of his wife, Renee, and somewhat new medical treatments he had full motor recovery but his speech deficits remained. 

He made good gains with his speech and was due to have a procedure in August to repair the hole in his heart which was thought to be the cause of the stroke.  Unfortunately, the procedure was postponed at the last minute.   He had the procedure September 17th which successfully fixed  his heart, but he sadly suffered two post operative  seizures and his speech suffered some significant setbacks.  

The most unfortunate  consequence is that he has not been able to work since the stroke. He was so hoping after the procedure he could get back to working, but due to his speech deficits and his inability to drive, he has not been able to go back to work. 

Due to all of this, it has been a challenge for Steve and Renee to keep up with all of their expenses month to month and their income does not meet their needs.  Any help that you can give would be so much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
