Though kindness surrounded me, I couldn't help but flinch at every outreached hand, conditioned to expect pain. Surprisingly, the hits never came. It took a long time for me to feel safe, but eventually, I did.

Meeting my new brother, Antony, opened my eyes to a world of treats, bones, and toys. My new family showered me with love and care, even dressing me in cute dresses to keep me warm. Despite their efforts, my ear infection persisted, leading to complications that now threaten my well-being.

Recently attacked by another dog, the injuries have exacerbated my condition. The infection has spread, causing my ear canal to close, pushing into my head, and affecting my eye. The doctor recommends a costly surgery – a Total Ear Canal Ablation and Bulla Osteotomy – to rid me of the pain.
