Josette Baudoin Comeaux, a beautiful, loving, faith-filled mother of 3, has been diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. She is undergoing intensive treatments to combat the cancer, and needs help.
After a year of treatment, Josette recently underwent a double mastectomy and is beginning new treatments to beat this disease. She has the faith, the self discipline, and the positive outlook to win, but her medical bills and care costs are mounting, beyond what they can afford. They have medical insurance, but it doesn’t cover the cost of all of her care, treatments and surgery. She is starting a new protocol, including chemotherapy, which will cost approx. $2,000 per month out of pocket, and she has not been able to work for months. They simply don’t have the funds necessary to ensure her recovery.
Josette is a fighter who has a strong faith in God. She is always positive, never complains and is always focused on how everyone else is doing. Josette never gives up, follows treatment protocol to a "T," and is a rock for everyone else, even though she's the one fighting for her life. She is a nurse who loves to share her knowledge, especially what she's learned during her battle with cancer. Josette also shares her faith and what God has shown her along this journey. She is a blessing to everyone who knows her.
Josette is a proud mother of three boys – Colin (20), Jacob (16), and Graham (8). She is married to the love of her life, Greg – a.k.a. Studmuffin – as she affectionately calls her firefighter husband. Greg works extra jobs and has taken on almost all responsibilities of running the home while Josette is fighting for her life. We are all praying for Josette’s full recovery and she is getting promising reports on her progress. Everyone in the family is doing what we can to lift some of the stress off of them so they can fight this cancer together.
