On sunday November 1st, Blessing Makwera was hit by a car on his motorcycle on State street in Boise. He is in the ICU at St Al's. He has a few surgeries he still has to get. He has a long road of recovery and lots of therapy. He is an engineering student at BSU and only has a year left. We are not sure when he will be going back because right now it is the waiting game while he is in the hospital to see how this accident effects him. He will not be able to return to work for quite a while. All of his family lives in Africa, so he does not have any family here. We are just trying to make sure his rent, utilities, and bills get paid and has extra financial support in this time of recovery.
