My 21 year old son, Bryan Pérez, was in an accident on Sunday Morning 01/10/2021. He and his friend were driving home from San Antonio Tx. My son Bryan was asleep in the passenger side, while his friend was driving, It was raining and cold, his friend then lost control of his truck which caused the truck to hydroplane. The truck then picked up wind and rolled several times hitting a tree. Thankfully both boys were wearing their seatbelts and while the driver sustained no serious injuries (Thank God!), my son wasn’t as lucky. Since no serious injuries threatened his friend he was able to get out of the truck to try and flag down passing vehicles. While running between flagging down vehicles and checking in on my son a state trooper finally found them and called for paramedics. After being rushed to the hospital with life threatening injuries he was diagnosed with an abdominal rupture, fractured jaw, dislocated right shoulder, fractured upper spine, and a gash on his right lower leg. My son has had two major surgeries, one for his abdomen and the other for his jaw, and may be needing more additional surgeries for his right knee and shoulder pending the results of those injuries. I thank God that my son is alive and I know if it hadn’t been for his friend he would not be here with us right now.
