Support for Mel's Mom

As many of you know, my mother Shelagh was diagnosed with end stage liver cancer in February of last year. Since then, she has been on a number of treatments including chemo and radiation, which unfortunately did not work as well as we would have hoped. She will soon be entering hospice care, and my sister Nadine and I are hoping to spend all the time we can with her in the few months she has left.

The last year has involved many appointments and treatments, exhausting my vacation and sick time. Many of you, in your generous and kind spirit, have asked how you can help in this difficult time. I've created this GoFundMe to allow me to take some unpaid leave from work so that I can be with my mother and focus on supporting and assisting her.
