Help Paul Hayward Fund Cancer Treatment

Like so many others, Paul Hayward is a son, brother, father, and,
since 2007, a cancer patient.
What makes Paul so different is his unique ability to maintain friendships over a lifetime. There are hundreds of people in his life who would call him a "best friend", a "reliable friend", an "unconditional friend". Paul is guided in his life by his quiet, kind, and gentle demeanour. These are precious gifts, given to him, and shared with all of us who know him.
Paul is currently recovering at his home at Anna Maria Island, FLA from recent and challenging surgery due to complications from 4th stage renal cancer.
Paul was discharged from Tampa General Hospital on April 8. His oncologists at Moffitt Cancer Centre in Tampa quickly prescribed a new and aggressive treatment plan of Inlyta, a prescription medicine used to treat advanced kidney cancer.
While Paul and his family are poised to meet the many challenges brought on by this next phase of treatment, they need our help. The cost of a 3-month supply of Inlyta is more than $16,000.00. Every effort is being made to secure funding support directly from Pfizer, the drug manufacturer, as well as through 'Meds Assist' in the U.S. to offset these costs. A small portion will be covered under Paul's medical insurance. However, there are limits to these subsidies. More funds will be needed to cover the total costs to purchase Inlyta on a go-forward basis.
