Help GHOST aka Ghost Face Killa, Ghost Head, and Ghost Gronkowski
In a small beach town, there lives a big white dog named Ghost. With a coat like snow, eyes like glaciers, and an infectious smile. Only the worst kind of people didn't like Ghost, but he still liked them. Ghost isn’t just any dog—
Ghost belongs to a little girl named Jo. She is five years old, with wild curls, scraped knees, and a hilarious laugh. From the day Jo was introduced to Ghost, Ghost was by her side. He sleeps at the foot of her bed, waits patiently at the gate when she leaves, and is always ready to eat her snacks.
Ghost isn’t just Jo’s dog. He belongs to everyone. He greets every neighbor with a tail wag that could knock over a potted plant and a bark that goes from scary to more like a friendly cheer once the threat is assessed. The mailman brings him biscuits. The cats at home—Iako, Simba, Nikita, and Dracula—sleep curled against his warm belly every night. He eats our chickens' poop lol. He loves his dog brother Po Boy and sister Gypsy Hustle.
But yesterday, Ghost didn’t get up with the sunrise.
He didn’t come to the door when Jo called. His tail barely wagged. He was still gentle, still full of love, but something in his eyes had dimmed. A visit to the vet brought heavy news—Ghost is very sick. He needs emergency treatment to save him, but it is expensive. Too expensive. Criminally expensive.
Jo didn’t understand at first. She sat by his side, stroking his fur, whispering, “It’s okay, Ghost. I’ll fix it.”
Ghost has the Parvo virus and it’s wreaking havoc on his internal organs. He has severe dehydration from vomiting and bloody diarrhea. He’s developed a heart murmur and is a shell of himself. It’s heartbreaking to see. Everything is so expensive and I know I’m being robbed by the evil scammers that call themselves vets, but my hands are tied. I hesitate making this, but I’ve donated thousands to friends and family over the years and I know it’s been helpful. So, putting my pride aside and asking for donations. Help bring our boy home! Please.
