A beloved father, grandfather and husband, retired NYPD Officer, Jose Collazo, was recently diagnosed with cancer in his kidneys and lungs as a result of his time as a first responder during 9/11. Already beginning the fight against cancer Jose recently had a procedure done to remove his left kidney. He is currently recovering from his surgery and will eventually be receiving chemo treatment in the near future. Jose is known to many for his infectious personality and ability to make people laugh. This Go Fund Me Account is being set up to help Jose and the Collazo family with medical expenses. Jose is in good spirits and ready to take on cancer.
