A life taken too soon.

As some people know, Eddie’s sister Bopha recently found out she had Lymphoma in October of 2019. She struggled through chemo and had an immense amount of fluid on her lungs throughout her 4 month hospital stay. Thankfully, finally Bopha got to go home. Her hair was starting to grow back and she was so happy for that. Unfortunately after not being home more than a month and a half, earlier this past week, Bopha was at home saying it was hard to breathe; she went to the bathroom and her dad thought she was taking longer than usual- he went to check on her and help her to the living room and as this was happening she collapsed and quit breathing. The squad was called and she was deceased at the scene, the EMT’s revived her and she was rushed to Doctor’s West Hospital and put in ICU on a ventilator. Due to the small amount of time Bopha was laying there not breathing before she was revived she became brain dead. She was on a ventilator for a few days and they ran all of the tests to make sure and sadly enough we as a family had to make the decision to take her off of the ventilator yesterday evening.
