Mustangs & Renegades a documentary series is the true account of filmmaker James Anaquad Kleinert as he reveals the roundup and removal of America’s Wild Horses - a direct consequence of the Federal Government selling off of Public Lands to the Extractive Industries. As James investigates the Fracking and Uranium Mining deals that are devastating his beloved community, his First Amendment Rights are violated – and we discover that our own Constitutional, Civil and Environmental Rights are being systematically stripped away for the sake of Profit. This journey climaxes with James’ victory in Federal Court, setting precedent in Freedom of Information Act Law, and segues into a vision of a Green Regenerative Economy where the rights of all are protected. This is an epic and honest tale of activism, passion, perseverance and transformation that touches the heart of the American West.

James Anaquad Kleinert's journey brings deep insight into Freedom of Information Act, Constitutional and Environmental Law, protecting our Liberties as Americans and for the American Wild Horses. It educates viewers on how to legally take on the powers that be and change the system for the better. The film educates people on environmental issues, land uses and the sensitive dynamics that the Wild Horse play in our delicate Western ecosystems. This film will motivate, educate and lead people to take positive action to support their communities!
The Funds will be used for final cut editing, music & image release, marketing and educational outreach.
In Early 2020 Mustangs & Renegades, A Modern Day Western was awarded Best Documentary Film by Native Cinema Film Festival, The Award of Excellence by the Documentary Impact Awards and Award of Excellence by the Accolade Film Festival. We released the series on https://vimeo.com/ondemand/mustangsrenegades however we received feedback that people are having a hard time navigating Vimeo's complicated browser, not allowing viewers to go directly to the movie and trying to sell them something else. In response we are now launching the series on: https://rumble.com/c/c-1170323 Rumble seems to be the new video journalism platform not censoring basic news reporting as we are seeing in many of the other social media outlets. Since we are rolling into episode 13 our production budget has grown over the years. At this point we will be giving away the episodes for free on Rumble. We ask that you make a donation here.
