Sneakers for Students. This started when a student at Minerva Central School needed a new pair of sneakers as the pair they were wearing had holes in them. A pair of sneakers was purchased for them as the family was not financially able to provide them. So, as a birthday fundraiser, I collected to purchase sneakers for more students that were in need. This has grown to a yearly event. We are averaging 30-35 pairs of sneakers for our students. With your help, this fundraiser has helped to purchase over 200 pairs of sneakers to date. Please help to keep this annual event going. Each year, students meet me at Famous Footwear in the mall and are able to choose their own sneakers. This ensures that they fit and that the student likes and will wear them. Even though it is summer and hot, school is just around the corner and it will soon be time for shopping. Your support and generosity is the foundation that keeps this program going. Please help if you can. Any amount adds up. A share will also help us along.

Thank you for making a student's life easier. New sneakers mean comfort, the ability to play in gym and recess, and to just fit in with their peers.
