On the evening of April 5th, 2017, a tragic house fire occurred. It was the newly rented home of our sister Samantha Little and her boyfriend Ron O'Dell. The fire spread so quickly that they barely had time to escape with their lives. Sam and Ron ran out with nothing on but the clothes they were wearing to bed. The MOST tragic outcome that evening was the devastating loss of their beloved pets. They tried in vain to rescue their fur babies but the smoke and fire was too intense. Despite all of their heroic efforts, all of their loving pets were lost, no matter how hard they tried. These beautiful animals (pictured below) were their children. They loved these animals so much. All of these animals were rescues. The loss of these family members are so hard for them. The fire was so intense that Sam and Ron were singed and blackened from the smoke and fire when they got out. They lost everything they owned but the loss of all their pets made it so much worse.
Our family is coming together to do everything we can to help Sam and Ron through their grieving process. This has caused a huge toll on them emotionally and financially. They will need to replace everything they own. They have nothing left.
We appreciate any help you can give them. Even the smallest amount would be so amazing. When something tragic like this happens it really brings people together. The support they have received from friends, family and strangers make you believe in hope and humanity.
