Hello and Salam alaikom!
Dear friends and family,
As some of you may know, I lost my beloved mother last year to serious illness. Since then, I struggled to get back on my feet but, Alhamdulillah, all praise and thanks belong to God, I have persevered and I'm on the right track. In December I found a job working for a lovely family and I returned to school and I'm working toward getting my degree in respiratory therapy.
Recently, my car broke down on the freeway and I was pretty much left stranded. Day by day I struggle with taking care of myself after I spent 8 years dedicated to taking care of my mom, and right when things started looking up, this happened. I am now unable to work the hours I used to, often working at night and I am also struggling to get to school because the bus doesn't run after I get out of my night classes, leaving me to walk a dark road home, which is not an option. Now that I am taking the bus, what could take 10 minutes driving, most of the time ends up being 2 hour trips or more. I am now faced with the decision to either quit school or see if I can get some wheels of My own to get My goals accomplished. I have already started saving money on my own, but I do ned a little help.
If gifted with enough money to purchase an econmical but reliable car, it will be put to good use. Not only will it aid me in my ability to better my situation, it will also serve as a catalyst for me to be independant and succeed in accomplishing my goals. I will be able to get to work and have more time to continue my education. For those who are close to me they know I hate asking for help because I really want to be able to do things on my own and it's hard for me to put my pride in my back pocket. My mom told me before she passed away that I can't be to proud to ask for help.
If funded, I will be eternally grateful for any help one could offer, and one day pay it forward, God willing. I also have a PayPal account which you can donate to, the email is [email redacted]. Thank You in advance.
