A bold community movement led by Lesanto’s Healing Hands Learning Facility INC — where love, medical care, and opportunity meet.
️ The Vision
At Lesanto’s Healing Hands Learning Facility INC, we are building more than a center — we are building a sanctuary.
A place where children with disabilities receive not just care, but love with dignity.
A place where exhausted families finally exhale, knowing their child is safe, supported, and seen.
This dream is taking shape inside a 133,000-square-foot former high school at 1720 Redman Road, St. Louis, Missouri. Once renovated, it will become a beacon of hope for children with medical, developmental, and emotional challenges — a space that combines therapy, education, respite care, and after-school programs under one roof.
Our Mission
To transform a historic building into a thriving center that serves:
Children with disabilities from birth through school age
Low-income families seeking inclusive and affordable care
Local residents through job creation and community programming
We are not waiting for change — we’re building it.
Why We’re Raising $25,000
The funds raised through this campaign will directly support:
Critical facility renovations and accessibility upgrades
Installation of adaptive learning and therapy equipment
Community job training and youth mentorship spaces
Inclusive playground and sensory areas
Every dollar moves us closer to opening our doors — creating over 180 jobs and serving hundreds of families who are currently on our waiting list.
The Heart Behind the Vision
Founded by Natavia Lesanto Wells, Lesanto’s Healing Hands was born from love — a mother’s determination to create what her community was missing. What began as a small idea has grown into a powerful nonprofit movement recognized across Missouri for its vision to unite care, education, and opportunity.
We believe that when one child thrives, the whole community rises.
