Hi friends and family!

Alyssa's birthday is on May 7th.  As most of you know, she is currently halfway through her cross-country travels.  She left NJ about 10 weeks ago, and made it all the way out to San Diego.  She's been in SD for about 2 months now.  As much as I'd love her to stay forever, she's anxious to hit the road and continue her travels!

There's one problem though:  MONEY!

The best gift we can give her is gas and food money so she can continue exploring the country!

My goal is to raise at least $1,500 for her.  This page allows you to contribute to her birthday funds.  I'll withdraw the money into my bank account and give her a Visa giftcard for the total amount on her birthday.  It takes 5-7 days for the money to hit my account, so I have to withdraw it by Wednesday, April 30th, to ensure I can get her the card by her birthday.

Remember, this is a birthday gift!  So mums the word!  Also, please leave a comment with your name when you contribute, so that I can list everyone in her birthday card!
