Hello, my name is Ashley DeLoach. My mother's name is Laura Ann Killian Gonzales. We both grew up here in SETX our whole lives. My mother raised me and her brother by herself. She struggled for years, so she's been on a fixed income even over the last few years due to becoming disabled with multiple health issues. My mom grew up in Port Arthur, TX. She went to Stephen F. Austin High School in Port Acres. She had two older brothers and one older sister. Even though my mom had a few health issues, we did not expect her sudden passing on Wednesday, December 17th, 2025, at Baptist Hospital that night. She had to have emergency surgery but wasn't able to make it through the intense surgery. Baptist ICU kept my mom alive long enough for me to get up there so she didn't have to pass away alone. She passed away about an hour after I got to the hospital. She went peacefully. She has made many friends over the years and had 2 grandchildren from me that she loved dearly, and 3 grandsons that she loved deeply that were my brother, Josh Contreras's kids.

She is resting peacefully with our Lord now. No more pain mentally or physically. She is at Broussard's Mortuary in Beaumont, TX. I'm reaching out from the bottom of my heart for financial help because she didn't have any burial insurance or savings set aside. Prayers accepted also in this time of need.
