Modify Elisha's Bathroom

On August 5, 2012 Elisha, my twelve-year old was hit by a car riding his bike down to the playground. The accident caused Traumatic Brain Injury and a compound fractured left femur. He was in a medically-induced coma for several weeks to recover from his brain trauma.



Today, Elisha is in a wheel chair and needs assistance everyday to take care of his needs. He is re-learning how to move, talk and walk. It has been a slow process but we are seeing the miraculous take place in his life. Because of Elisha's circumstance and the fact that he is a growing teenager, we have to modify the first floor bathroom to get Elisha in and out without my husband and I having to take him out of his wheelchair and carry him into the bathroom. That's why we have created this website. We need help to raise the money needed to make the necessary changes to his bathroom. We are going to have to expand the bathroom into Elisha's bedroom, widen the doorway, completely gut the bathroom to create a wheelchair accessible shower,etc... This is a costly undertaking. Please consider supporting us in this endeavor. Most importantly, pray for us and watch as the Lord transform our family and heals Elisha.Â
