Help Me Rebuild After Job Loss

Donation protected
I'm somewhat embarrassed to be asking this of folks, but this patch I've found myself in has been particularly difficult to navigate on my own.

The inciting incident took place at the end of November. I'd finally reached a threshold with the mismanagement at work; the bullying and unpredictable nature of those in power over me reached a turning point. I'd reached my personal limit, and the idea of walking into an uncertain financial future felt safer than continuing forward with the restaurant. I made a bold move and walked out. I don't regret it for an instant; however, we have run out of our already depleted savings. (I had been financially supporting a now former housemate through an attempted suicide with a promise of repayment, only to be left with egg on my face.)

As many of you know, financial literacy was never a strong suit, but I had been able to support another individual for months with my savings. I was operating on good faith that a repayment was going to come through, only to be betrayed and now with no job on the horizon. As for my line of work, it is slow season, and restaurants are unlikely to be onboarding anytime soon. I am starting to grow worried and could use your loving support. This money will help pay my portion of bills and rent for the next few weeks while I diligently keep on top of applying for work.
