Lately a lot of friends have been asking how they can donate money or buy tickets regarding the fundraiser for Shayla McCarty. So I’ve decided to start a go fund me page, to make it easier for anyone who would like to donate. Or was unable to buy tickets from the Villa or make it to the fundraiser my father Moody Dumas put on.

A little bit of info on her situation: Shayla has been having health issues that began to get very serious in April 2019. She was admitted to the hospital unable to eat or keep food down, the doctors ran multiple test & were unable to place a diagnosis. A few weeks in she had a pulmonary embolism that caused a stroke. She was in the ICU on a ventilator for 3 weeks fighting for her life. She has now been in the hospital for just over three months. She is now at a point where she is stable & can be transferred to one of the best rehab facilities to then re-gain the ability to walk, talk & hopefully eat on her own.

She has a 3 year old daughter Aaliyah. Where her partner Jesse has been taking on the duties of Super Dad caring for her on his own while trying to work full time. She works at the Loch Lomond villa, & was attending her first year of the LPN program at NBCC before all this had happened.

For anyone that donates your name will be placed in a draw to win a LG tablet. For every 10$ your name will be placed in the draw. So if you donate 20$ your name will be placed in twice, so on & so forth.
